Second show yesterday. Came home with more pigs- of course. The sow was a temptation beyond all reason due to her many qualities... not to mention temperament. The boar wasn't remotely anticipated but He's to good to be wasted so he came home to, a very happy young man. Part of me is enjoying the irony that both were fairly cheap compared to what i paid other breeders and their quality was so much higher. I do run into a conundrum here though. I do believe that blogs are supposed to be from the heart but i just can't bring myself to have the full winge session I want to in fear of upsetting someone. I've talked to some breeders about it so i have got it off my chest to some extent. But this is to do with the quality of stock and nothing to do with the club or my experience to date.
The club reminds me of what Cavywest used to be like. The people are warm and friendly. I enjoy the looks of appreciation on their faces as i wander past with a recent purchase totally relaxed in my arms. Oh how I've missed sharing stories and experiences- the good the bad and the ugly in some cases. Hopefully there are many more stories to come.
